When you create an account, browse, or place an order, we may collect:

• Account details: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored as a secure hash — we never see or store your plain-text password).
• Order & delivery information: delivery addresses, order history, and items purchased.
• Payment information: processed directly by our payment partner (Razorpay). SYRA Fresh does not store your full card, UPI, or bank details on its own servers.
• Usage data: pages viewed, products searched, and general device/browser information, used to improve the shopping experience.

2. How we use your information

• To process and deliver your orders, including coordinating with delivery partners.
• To send order confirmations, delivery updates, and — with your consent — promotional offers.
• To personalize product recommendations and improve our catalog and service quality.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms of service.

3. How we protect your data

Passwords are hashed before storage, and all traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to customer data within our systems is restricted to team members who need it to do their jobs, such as fulfilling orders or providing support.

4. Sharing your information

We share only what's necessary with:

• Delivery partners — your name, address and phone number, solely to complete delivery.
• Payment processors — transaction details needed to process online payments securely.
• Legal authorities — only when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of SYRA Fresh and its customers.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use local storage in your browser to keep you logged in, remember your theme preference, and remember recent searches. These are used only to improve your experience on SYRA Fresh and are not shared with advertisers.

6. Your choices

• You can view and update your account details any time from My Account.
• You can opt out of promotional emails from the footer of any newsletter we send.
• You can request account deletion by emailing hello@syrafresh.example — we'll process it within 7 business days.

7. Children's privacy

SYRA Fresh is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
